EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or “Tapping” is a simple and versatile self-help method that anyone can learn. It involves tapping with your fingertips on acupuncture points on the hands, face, and body while focusing on uncomfortable thoughts and feelings.
By facing negative emotions like guilt, hurt, fear, or anger during tapping (instead of avoiding or suppressing them), people often find unexpected relief. EFT can also bring about relief from physical pain also. Just a few rounds of EFT tapping can leave you feeling lighter, calmer, and able to breathe more easily.
Beyond offering immediate stress relief, EFT tapping can also be used therapeutically to address the root causes of problems and create lasting change.
